Appleby’s cheese straws are another simple yet effective appetiser that can work wonderfully well with either Appleby’s Cheshire or Appleby’s Smoked. Appleby’s Cheshire produces a delicate and traditional finish whereas Appleby’s Smoked provides a subtle variation to the conventional cheese straw. As before these nibbles would be accompanied well by an English white, Sauvignon Blanc or a silky textured Shiraz.
